Samsung to let developers easier to create applications for news sites with a new version of the sdk for its own platform Bada. News can the app be retrieved via a new rss-function in the sdk.
The new feature ‘bada rss builder’ inserts a template for nieuwsapplicaties by integration with the built-in rss reader of the platform. This is evident from the changelog of Bada sdk 2.0.3, in which the function is added. Bada is Samsungs own platform and can be applied to various kernels running, says the manufacturer. The smartphones with Bada got so far all the name Wave. The latest of which is the Wave 3, which this month came out in the Netherlands.
The sdk has a version number 2.0.3 and is an update of the 2.0 sdk that since a few months. By making it easier to nieuwsapps, Samsung is probably the number of apps for its platform increase. Although the manufacturer last year, much attention is put on the own platform, it seems less this year to pay attention to. Compared to many of the Galaxy models were just some of the Wave variations.
