‘Pentax is coming with a full-frame-dslr and ilc with an aps-c sensor’

Pentax would plan to use in 2012 a digital slr with a full-frame image sensor. Also would the manufacturer a compact system camera with aps-c image sensor in the pipeline.

The rumor comes from Peter Fang in the forum of DP Review. This person had a day for the official announcement of the Pentax K-7 dslr an extensive hands-on with the camera placed, after a test period of about a month, so RiceHigh’s Pentax Blog to sign up.

In the posting reports Fang, who is said to be based on a source that in the past, trustworthy, that there is not much known about the first fullframe-dslr from Pentax, but that this is likely to be equipped with a new Sony sensor with 24 megapixels.

Sony used to be in all probability a variant of this sensor in the yet unannounced Alpha A99. That would be just like the current Alpha A77 is a fixed mirror.

According to the Japanese news service Jiji develops Pentax, which is now a part of Ricoh, a compact system camera, but the sensor size was not yet clear. According to the posting, it is a aps-c sensor, but the camera will not be further discussed.
