The Nokia 803 should next year the successor of the camera phone Nokia N8. That says telecomsite Pocketnow, who claims to be a guide of the device in your hands. The phone would not run on Windows Phone 7.
The strongest indication that the 803 the N8 follow-up, the bulge for the camera module on the render of the phone in the manual, says Pocketnow. It is unclear in what ways the camera improved, but because of the housing with the camera 19mm thick seems to be, there is relatively much space for the camera module. Previously went the rumor about a 12-megapixel camera with optical zoom.
The design of the phone makes the eye think that the Lumia 710, the second Windows Phone smartphone from Nokia, a few weeks in the Dutch shops to purchase. The 803 on the other hand, in the course of next year and will be presented in February, so goes the rumor.
From the manual it appears that connectivity, nfc, and hdmi on the device are present. What operating system the device runs, is unclear. Windows Phone is not possible, because the required buttons are missing. The device runs probably on Symbian. Previously went the rumor that the successor of the N8 again, Symbian would run. The N8 came in the autumn of 2010.
