Nikon brings F-mount adapter on the market

Camera manufacturer Nikon has a FT1 adapter on the market that makes it possible for existing F-mount lenses on the compact system cameras from the Nikon 1 line. The adapter also supports AF-S lenses.

Due to the availability of the FT1 adapter can owners of older and current F-mount lenses of Nikon to reuse them on the compact system cameras, Nikon J1 and V1. Nikon states that the adapter in combination with over sixty lenses can be used.

Can also Nikkor AF-S lenses benefit from the improved autofocus system, this dslr-series. Older AF-D lenses can still be mounted on the adapter, but will have to manually focus because of the lack of an af-screw in the adapter.
