Medion is on the verge of its first Android smartphone in the Netherlands. The device runs on Android 2.3 and has a 4.3″screen with a resolution of 800×480 pixels. The Medion Life P4310 is a variant of the ZTE Skate.
The webshop of Medion mentions that the Life P4310 ‘probably’ on 7 december, available in the Netherlands. It is the first smartphone by the manufacturer in the Netherlands as well as abroad. The Medion Life smartphone was in October, already for sale in Belgium, via the Aldi. Provider Orange released the device as Monte Carlo in August.
The Life P4310 is a variant of the Skate, a smartphone that ZTE in February announced and where Tweakers.net when a hands-on of published. The Medion Life runs on the Qualcomm MSM7227, the soc that is in the HTC Legend and countless budgettelefoons. The clock speed is 800MHz. The working memory has a size of 512MB, where after a reset, 150MB of on is for running apps. For storage of music, photos, videos, and apps that allow a memory card of 4GB is included. The Life P4310 goes in the Netherlands is 220 euros in costs, slightly more than the variants in other countries.
