HP makes their own operating system WebOS open source

Computer company HP makes its own operating system WebOS open source. That the company’s employees told at a meeting. HP bought WebOS a year and a half ago, but there has been little success with it booked.

HP continues to invest in the development of WebOS after the source code has been released, says the company. It is unclear whether the company ever even the hardware that runs on the operating system. HP wanted WebOS to use for smartphones, tablets, and printers.
