Google rolls out fix for volumebug Galaxy Nexus

Google has begun the rollout of an update that is the problem with the volume on the Galaxy Nexus must address. The internetgigant has the release not announced, but several users report that they have a update received.

The update comes over-the-air within to users, and is to be phased. As a result, not all users have the new software version at the same time. The Android version remains with 4.0.1 are the same and the only change seems to be the remedy of the volumebug. Most of the users who have the update installed, report that the problem is fixed.

Users who suffer from the bug reported earlier that the volume fluctuates when the phone from a 3g to a 2g network on the 900MHz band switch. A large part of Europe, but also parts of Africa and Asia make use of 2g on 900MHz. The problems came to light after the device came on the market in the United Kingdom. Google already gave a update to prepare for that the problem had to be solved.

The Galaxy Nexus will probably be out shortly in the Netherlands. It is likely that the new software already on the device.
