Google adds floor plans of buildings on Maps

Google has made it possible to use floor plans of buildings to view with the Maps application for Android. The software can also determine on which floor the user is, and adjust the view to respond to this.

However, the feature is only available for a number of American buildings, including airports and shopping malls. Google promises that in the future support for more buildings. Companies that are interested, can register with the internetgigant specify a map to upload.
