Director T-Mobile Netherlands departs

Deutsche Telekom proposes a new ceo at T-Mobile Netherlands. The current director, leaves the provider as at 31 december. T-Mobile confirms the message. He is replaced by the current director, Sales and Service of Deutsche Telekom.

T-Mobile does not say why the current ceo, Bart Weijermars as from 1 January T-Mobile will leave, but it has, according to the Financial Times to do with the investigation of the NMa to price-fixing agreements between KPN, Vodafone and T-Mobile. The NMa looks at whether the telecom providers in recent years, price-fixing agreements have been made about rates for mobile calls and internet. This week did the competition authority raided the three providers.

T-Mobile confirms the message that Weijermars leaves. “But it has nothing to do with the investigation of the NMa,” said spokesman Michael Fox. “Such a departure is already prepared. The invasion of the NMa was Tuesday. Such steps are not on such short notice.” Weijermars’ successor is the German Thomas Berlemann, which is now the department of Sales and Service leads in the parent company in Germany.
