Bittorrentprogramma Tribler gets wiki-functionality

Last week the Tribler team of the TU Delft, a new version of their Bittorrent client released. Version 5.5 has, among other things, a wiki-function for the channels, so that everyone for example, the description of the torrents can adjust.

The largest adjustments in the case of Tribler 5.5 relate to the channels. These now contain comments, playlists, and a stemmogelijkheid. Most important addition is, however, the Open2Edit functionality. This allows administrators of channels the opportunity to give everyone information about the categorization of .torrent-files, such as swarmnamen to add, supplement or change. The changes are real-time for everyone in the channel made.

To see which user is which wiki-adjustments and also the modificatiegeschiedenis of pages on the channel is to see. At a test with 250 peers, where 1 is the peer all messages checked in, it turned out that the synchronization runs smoothly and the feature hardly any bandwidth costs. The Tribler team has continued the search faster and some bugs fixed.
