The Performance One series is characterized by the sound damping materials in the enclosure are processed. The latest case in the series, the Performance One P280, has side panels with sound-absorbing polycarbonate and a door on the front that comprises three layers. The interior of the P280 is larger than that of its predecessors and is equipped with two 120mm fans at the top and a third in the back, all three of which as the exhaust function. To the front is space for four additional fans: two in front and two behind the drivecage. That cage can accommodate six internal 3,5″ or 2,5″drives, while there are also two separate 2,5″-drives. Furthermore, three 5,25″drives be built.

The power supply is fitted at the bottom and wiring can be done by one of the four rubber-sealed holes to be lined. A large cutout in the backplate makes installation of cpu coolers with a maximum height of 170mm easily. On the front are finally two usb 2.0, two usb 3.0 and audio ports fitted. The housing has a suggested retail price of 139 euro, but for something less available.
