Prolimatech introduces entry-level Lynx-cooler

Prolimatech released its latest processor fan assembly, Lynx, ge lwa site. The cooler is designed as an entry-level and is therefore not suitable for Intel’s latest generation of processors, the Sandy Bridge E-series, with its socket lga2011.

The Prolimatech Lynx is well suited to the other current sockets from both AMD and Intel, but the last manufacturer is socket lga1366 skipped. It keeps Intel’s 1155 and 1156 sockets and AMD’s AM2 and AM3 sockets. The modest cooler consists of a cooling tower with a depth of 30mm and a height 159,5 mm. It weighs 487 grams with the fan is quite low.

The cooling fins are made of aluminum; the three heatpipes, the heat of the base away, are made of brass. Prolimatech makes a 120mm fan that rotates at 800 to 1600rpm. Clips for a second fan are included. The cooler is available now and costs 28 euro. The German CaseKing delivers the cooler.
