Hacker claims access to 1.5 million addresses Sinterklaasjournaal

A hacker claims to have access to obtained data of about 1.5 million persons on the NTR website Sinterklaasjournaal.nl their e-mail address had left. The public broadcaster has a part of the site as a precaution closed.

The hacker, who had access knew how to get to data from 13,000 children, says again having had access to personal data on Sinterklaasjournaal.nl. This time it would go to the database of ‘the big book’, a part of Sinterklaasjournaal.nl which e-mail addresses of up to 1.5 million people would be saved.

Spokeswoman, Helen Albada of the NTR late Tweakers.net know that the hacker re-contact with them sought, but that he still has no proof is required. Nevertheless, the broadcaster ‘for the security’ decided the appropriate section on the site to deactivate it.

The NTR will investigate whether the hacker actually has access to the stored e-mail addresses, although it would be the builder of the ‘great book’ have said that this is impossible. Also let Albada know that a part of the content of ‘the big book’, a video clip, it is moved to the homepage of the site. The previous vulnerability, caused by an outdated tool, would by now have been fixed.
