First screenshots of mail and calendar apps for the Playbook appear

There are pictures published of the native email, calendar and contactenapplicaties where RIM is currently working for its Playbook tablet. The applications shall, as a part of a besturingssysteemupdate in February come true.

RIM demonstrated the applications at the BlackBerry Innovation Forum, where the site Blackberrycool was present. The images show the new email-, calendar – and contactenapplicaties that the company is in development, and with the next update of the operating system.

Currently, such applications are part of the feature BlackBerry Bridge, allowing only users who have both a Playbook and BlackBerry phone are there to make use of. The smartphone should do this wirelessly with the tablet connected, and then the applications can be started. The data traffic runs here over the phone about the servers of BlackBerry.

From the images we can conclude that the native versions of the applications are classified differently than those from BlackBerry Bridge. So are the menu buttons from the bottom to the side moved, and let the calendar app now via a split-view both a monthly view as a calendar. Is expected to be the update for the Playbook in mid-February, available.
