Android 4.0 initially has no Flash support update

Android 4.0, recently released, has yet in the browser, no support for Adobe Flash. This is only if Adobe the plugin adapted for the latest version of the mobile operating system, says Google.

Users of the Galaxy Nexus with Android 4.0, you have no Flash plugin pre-installed and can this also not from the Android Market to download. According to Google, this is common and should Adobe the plugin first to make them suitable for the mobile operating system, reports Slashgear. Google says to know that Adobe intends to do so and therefore expects in the long term a working Flash plugin for Android 4.0.

This is somewhat remarkable, since Adobe earlier this month said it would stop development of Flash for mobile phones. The company gave it only updates will bring. Adjustments of Flash for a ‘new browsers, OS versions, and apparaatconfiguraties’ would according to Adobe, no longer take place. The company has yet to comment about the availability of Flash for Android 4.0

Update 15:22
