Website municipality of Eindhoven again connected to DigiD

The website of the municipality of Eindhoven is connected to DigiD after the security issues of the ‘digital belastingbalie would have been resolved. A number of subsites of the Brabant municipality are, however, still ‘as a precaution’ offline.

At the end of October, there were various websites of the municipality of Eindhoven by overheidsautomatiseerder Logius disconnected from DigiD because these with serious security vulnerabilities were. The main problem would sit in the section where the inhabitants of the Brabant municipality of tax matters could control: the management interface without authentication in a browser to call. Other sites of the municipality of Eindhoven would also be vulnerable for sql-injections and xss-attacks.

The municipality of Eindhoven has let us know that the problems with the digital belastingbalie are solved, and here again, use may be made of DigiD. The entire digital services at the end of this week should be operational.

Some other gemeentesites are, however, still offline; it comes to werkenbij.eindhoven.nl, bestemmingsplannen.eindhoven.nl and bereikbaar.eindhoven.nl. The content on these subsites, will be transferred to a more secure environment. Eindhoven suggests that there is no evidence found that of the websites in question, sensitive information is captured.
