Samsung has a new nfc chip announced that some of the equipment on board has to keep him safer. The chip contains a 760KB-flashprocesor, which, among other data encrypted can be stored.
Samsung has the piece of hardware the “Secu-NFC chip’ number and type SENHRN1 passed. The chip measures 4,3×4,3x1mm, and is thus just as large as regular nfc chips. Samsung has on the same surface, however, 760KB flash memory is placed, on which information, such as credit card information, is protected can be stored. This would mean that payments via the nfc chip safer expired.
Just like regular nfc chips can also the safe version of Samsung work without power supply. According to Samsung, manufacturers for the new type of chip, because of its usual dimensions easy to implement. Samsung spreads currently units of the Secu-NFC chip, among a few partners. The technique will be exhibited at the Cartes trade fair in Paris, from 15 to 17 november.
