Microsoft seems to be planning to with Socl social-networking site in the air. The service needs to distinguish itself with an extensive social search, but also the ability to make video calls.
The details were brought out by The Verge, the service briefly has can try. The main feature seems to be the search bar: users who follow each other can then be each other’s searches, this “liking”, or on the search results to respond. Then can the searches be kept as interests. There may be a link with Facebook to be made, though it is unclear how this integration looks like.
It is also a possibility to make video calls built in, and friends can jointly watch Youtube videos. There seems to be one list of friends to be, where it is not possible to have people in categories. Microsoft speaks of followers, making it possible to compare is with Twitter. Apart from video calling seems to be a chat or message feature, however, is lacking.
Microsoft seems to have several features and the design to be inspired by Google’s Plus network. Among other things, the sharing of search results has the internetgigant all made possible with its +1 button. Also together watching Youtube videos on Google+, just like the saving of searches.
