‘Antispywaremaker Lavasoft bought by crooks’

Software producer Lavasoft, the well-known of the antispywaretool Ad-Aware, it would be in the hands of a criminal investment company. The current owners would be in a grey past self spyware have served.

The Swedish Lavasoft was, in January this year acquired by the investment company Solaria. The company has no other holdings in the hands. The Register claims that the company has ties with the founders of a marketing company UpClick.
