Hackers who would work on behalf of hostile countries have in the past few months on a large-scale British government attacked. Among other foreign affairs and systems of defense were targeted.
That sets Iain Lobban, director of the intelligence service GCHQ, at the London Conference on Cyberspace, where, among others, EU commissioner Neelie Kroes and the U.s. secretary of state Hillary Clinton are present. According to Lobban, have unknown hackers, who may be in command of governments work, attempted to secret corporate and government information of loot. For instance, in the last summer a large-scale attack occurred on systems of the ministry of foreign affairs. The attacks, however, would in time have been repulsed.
Although the British government for a long time was reproached for too little priority to the securing of critical systems, aims to be the government through new investments, the level to raise up.
