Toyota shows images available on the 7″screen of the in-car system

Toyota has under the name Touch a Life a new in-car infotainment system for its iQ city car announced. With Touch Life can the screen of a smartphone projected on the display in the center console.

The Touch Life system that Toyota at the end of this year in the iQ models is going to offer, used the MirrorLink standard to the screen of a smartphone to flip on the 7″touch screen. The MirrorLink standard developed by the Car Connectivity Consortium; according to Toyota Touch Life is the first system that use this standard.

Via Toyota’s on-board computer can be a smartphone to be controlled with both the touchscreen and a few buttons in the steering wheel are processed. It currently supports Touch Life the Symbian Belle operating system no additional software is needed, so reports Engadget.
