Publisher Take-Two has announced that the new Xcom game is postponed to financial year 2013. The announcement coincided with the presentation of the quarterly figures, due to lack of major releases negative.
Xcom was at the last E3-gamesbeurs billed as a tactical first-person-shooter, on 9 march would come true. For unknown reason, Take-Two decided the game until fiscal year 2013, which represents a release between 1 april 2012 and 31 march 2013, as the editor was known at the presentation of its quarterly figures.
The recently announced GTA V got no release date from Take-Two. Since the announcement was their tricks on the loose speculation as to when the game will appear, with several analysts making the game even for the summer of 2012 expected. The only news that the publisher wanted, is that of the Grand Theft Auto series with each other 114 million copies have been sold.
The absence this quarter of great titles on the releaselijst of Take-Two pushed the digits of the publisher. The last quarter turned Take-Two a loss of converted to 34.9 million euros, a result that was better than expected thanks to the sale of already released games. The publisher is expected before the end of its financial year yet to make a profit.
