Motorola seems to be with the Corvair, an Android tablet in development to have that as a remote control for the tv can function. This seems to be the device intended as a media tablet, which is also on the tv can be connected.
This is evident from the images that are in the hands of The Verge, in which the tablet is shown in cooperation with a tv, the tablet interface looks like the tv has to be visible. The Corvair has about infrared as a remote control to function. It is likely that a set-top box from Motorola need to the tablet with the tv to work, which, for example, content streamed can be.
The Corvair runs on Android 2.3, but Motorola seems to be the interface adapted to. The screen of the tablet has a diagonal of 6″ and there is wi-fi present.
