Nippon Electric Glass Co Ltd has demonstrated the results at the FPD International 2011 exhibition, recently in Japan was held. The treated glass has on both sides an anti-reflective layer, which is composed of thirty different sub-layers of a few nanometers thick. That layer has, according to the manufacturer, as a result, the ‘invisible glass’ only 0.5 percent of the light reflects. In normal glass that is 8 percent higher.
