HTC has its first aircraft presented with a screen that supports resolution of 1280×720 pixels. The Rezound, however, will only be available through Us carrier Verizon, and not on the Dutch gsm networks work.
The Rezound is the first HTC device with a 720p screen, but in the meantime, there are already several devices of other manufacturers announced that about a ‘hd display’. The Samsung Galaxy Note, that last week in the Netherlands was released and in september, it is announced, has a 5.3″screen with a 1280×800 resolution. The Galaxy Nexus from Google and Samsung, which later this month opens, has a 720p screen at 4.65″. LG already has a phone with a 720p screen announced for the South Korean market: the Optimus LTE.
Although the Rezound is not to the Netherlands seems to come, makes the announcement it is likely that HTC is in a later stage of smartphones with a 720p screen in the Netherlands it will be released. Probably happens next year: HTC announces traditionally in February at the telecombeurs Mobile World Congress a number of new phones.
The Rezound looks a lot like the Sensation XE: he has a 4.3″ Super LCD and runs on a dualcore soc with a clock speed of 1.5 GHz. Probably going to be the same Qualcomm MSM8x60-soc with Adreno 220 gpu as the Sensation XE. The smartphone supports the 4g network lte.
