In a cyber attack on Mitsubishi Heavy Industries are said to be confidential data stolen. That, say sources at the Japanese newspaper The Asahi Shimbun. Mitsubishi is the leading manufacturer of military products in that country.
The Japanese defence industry was in september, hit by the first proven cyber attack. There were viruses found on dozens of computers in the various factories of Mitsubishi, where parts for Boeing aircraft, submarines and components for nuclear power plants are made.
This week it was announced that the computers of Japanese embassies and consulates and the houses of parliament are attacked. These pc’s would have a backdoor, but also the Japanese government denies that the hackers of sensitive information have been captured. According to rumors come all the mentioned cyber attacks from China, but that country denies those allegations.
