On a Chinese website, the first pictures shown of the Lumix GX1-m4/3 camera from Panasonic. The compact system camera may seem a little grip at the Panasonic LC1 from 2004 and is the ‘spiritual’ successor of the Lumix GF1.
On Mobile01, a Chinese forum, this weekend, pictures posted of the Lumix GX1 from Panasonic. On Mobile01, the photos of the GX1 is now removed, but 43Rumors has them yet online.
The camera will do because of the size and the number of direct controls think of the panasonic Lumix GF1, but has a deeper grip for more grip. The gripvorm shows similarities with that of the older Panasonic LC1 camera.
Also, at the photos to see that the GX1 is a mode dial more than the GF1, but the ring around the mode dial for the transport function is gone. Also, the GX1 stereo microphones and a built-in flash.
The GX1 will get to be the sensor of the Lumix G3, with 16 megapixels, and the maximum sensitivity would be iso 12,800 amounts. The lcd would still have a resolution of 460,000 subpixels and the camera will probably be on november 8, officially announced. The retail price for the GX1 body is according to 43Rumors about 600 euros, while the camera is in combination with the mapped 14-42mm X lens is almost 1000 euro cost.
Panasonic brought since the introduction of the original GF1, the Lumix GF2 and GF3, but cut at those models in the number of buttons and added touch-functionality in an attempt to the novice photographer to speak.
