The FBI has together with the Dutch police of a large botnet dismantled, that out of four million pc’s would have existed. The now building managers manipulated the dns settings of ge lwa nfecteerde pc’s.
The botnet, which in Estonia would be hosted, was used to millions to earn, reports the FBI. The malware via the botnet was spread, changed the dns settings of victims to point to a rogue dns server that is used by the botnetbeheerders was set up.
