Epic and Microsoft have the free Versus Booster map pack for Gears of War 3 announced. The package will appear on 24 november, and contains five levels, two remakes from the first game and three remakes from the Horde Command Pack.
The Horde Command Pack was at the beginning of October announced and is available today for 800 Microsoft points, the euro 9,60 euro. At the same time with the release of the dlc reveal Epic and Microsoft the Versus Booster map pack, which has five levels, and on 24 november for free download on Xbox Live.
The Versus Booster map pack contains five levels. Swamp and Clocktower come from the first Gears of War game; the other three levels come from the today-released Horde Command Pack are: Blood Drive, Rustlung and Azura. The Versus Booster package must, however, without the four new fortification upgrades ” of the Horde Command Pack. Also, the three new playable characters and two wapenskins remain reserved for paying gamers.
The downloadable content that after the Versus Booster map pack will appear for Gears of War 3, called RAAM’s Shadow and comes out on december 13. RAAM’s Shadow adds about three hours of single-player gameplay and takes place before the events of the first game. Also included in the dlc are six characters for multiplayer and the ‘chocolate weapon set’.
