Details of thin HTC phone with Android ICS appear

After data over the Edge again, details of an unannounced HTC smartphone have become known. The Ville would be Android Ice Cream Sandwich and a 1.5 GHz dual-core, and with still no 8mm thinner than average.

The specifications of the thin device and a renderafbeelding were published by BGR, that its source is not disclosed. In addition to the new Android version is HTC, probably also with a new variant of his skin, that Sense 4.0 will be called. Inside housing is running a 1.5 GHz dualcoreprocessor from Qualcomm in the Snapdragon S4 series. The 4.3″screen has a resolution of 960×540 pixels. In addition, an 8-megapixel camera take photos and shoot videos in 1080p resolution. Internet connection can be made via umts with hspa+.

On the renderafbeelding is to see that the Ville has no hardware buttons on board; that, since Android 4.0, codenamed Ice Cream Sandwich, no longer necessary. On the render however lacks details, making it plausible that the design is still being adjusted.

According to BGR the device during the Mobile World Congress in February announced. Then also the previously leaked Edge at the time appear. That last features Nvidia’s Tegra 3 soc and a 4.7″screen with 720p resolution. The rumor that HTC is for the Edge to the Tegra 3 would use is remarkable; normally, run HTC devices on Qualcomm processors. Consumers should be in april 2012, the Ville can buy, probably around the time that the Edge in the shops.
