CBS refused to deal with Apple on streaming tv

CBS boss Leslie Moonves has said that Apple is the broadcaster approached for a streaming tv service on the basis of the share of drug company advertising revenues. CBS has that offer, however, declined as the company is the licensing of content prefer.

Moonves made his remarks at the announcement of the figures for the third quarter, so it is read at Gigaom. An analyst asked whether CBS was interested in closing deals with new streaming-tv-customers who do not direct the money on the table trying to explain to the licensing fees for online content to pay in advance. Moonves replied in the negative and said that CBS has decided not to go with Apple for the supply of streaming content.

Rumors were doing the round that Apple was planning an online streaming service with content from multiple, large broadcasters. Apple has the plan, reportedly, is not continued because not enough content providers are persuaded could be to join. None of the companies involved confirmed to date, however, that they do so by Apple were approached. Moonves has now confirmed that Apple has an online streaming service wanted to start.
