Canonical adds e-books to the Ubuntu Software Center

Ubuntu-publisher is Canonical among the e-books to offer in the Software Center of Ubuntu. The publisher of the linux distribution it sells in cooperation with other publishers of pdf files for computers and e-readers.

Canonical works jointly with Pearson Technology Group and Linux New Media. It is not clear which titles Ubuntu’re going to deliver. Both publishers offer mainly ict literature. The Ubuntu-maker to let you know that in any case “The Official Ubuntu Book’ and ‘Ubuntu Unleashed’ on the application store are added. Will magazines such as Ubuntu User and Linux Magazine for a few dollars are available, among other in the Netherlands.

Canonical builds up its application store slowly with commercial products. Meanwhile, in the Software Center various paid programs offered. So has Canonical recently launched a special website, which developer apps can sell.
