Canon developed a dslr that is capable of 4k video. That made the manufacturer together with the introduction of the Cinema EOS-filmcamerasysteem known. It is possible to find the successor of the EOS 5D Mark II.
Canon has released about the new dslr, which has extensive video capabilities. It is announced that the new slr, like the new EOS 1D X, a full-frame image sensor, but the amount of megapixels is still unknown.
For the 4k movie mode is the image cropped to aps-h-format, the same beeldsensorgrootte as in the current EOS 1D Mark IV. For the equivalent angle of view in small must the focal length of the lenses, therefore, be multiplied by 1.3 x. In the 4k video mode, the frame rate 24fps, while motion-jpeg for compression is used.
Although no further details about the future of the dslr announced, it is expected that the successor of the now three-year old EOS 5D Mark II dslr. This last has created a sensation because of his good ruisprestaties and image quality in video. Not for nothing is the EOS 5D Mark II, therefore, often used for smaller film productions.
