Warhammer 40,000 Dark Millennium Online is coming probably in 2013

Publisher THQ gave on his own website to expect Warhammer 40,000 Dark Millennium Online in 2013. That expectation is now removed from the website. It was the first indication for the release of the mmog.

Publisher THQ has on its own website a page set aside for Warhammer 40,000 Dark Millennium Online, the mmog that is in the works at Vigil Games. According to fansite Massively was on that page to read that the mmog in 2013 comes on the market. The announcement was however already soon after the discovery by Massively disappeared and the publisher, again at the old position that the release date of the game at a later date to be announced.

Dark Millennium Online is being made by Vigil Games, the studio who in 2010 made his debut with Darksiders and in addition to the Warhammer-mmog also working on a successor Darksiders 2. As with the Darksiders games is the graphic style of the game is determined by Vigil’s art director and former comic book artist Joe Madureira. Publisher THQ has the rights to create games based on the Warhammer world, which is known from the pen-and-paper-rpg and the tabletop game. In 2009 appeared all of a mmog in the same universe playing: Warhammer Online: Age of Reckoning. That game was made by Mythic Entertainment and released by Electronic Arts.
