The Solar Team Twente is on the third day of the World Solar Challenge, and climbed to the fifth position. The other Dutch participant in the ‘zonnerace’, the Nuon Solar Team, still has the second position in the hands.
Monday was the race stopped because of forest fires. On Tuesday morning could the World Solar Challenge will be started after the police the safe had declared. When you restart your computer, the mutual positions and timing are retained.
The Solar Team Twente did with the 21Connect-car during the stage, a position to advance to the fifth place. During the ride over 535 kilometers, earned the team an average speed of 90km/h.
