Samsung has announced that users since the launch of its application store for tvs in 2010 already more than ten million applications have been downloaded. In may of this year, the counter is still five million.
Winners in the TV Apps Store, YouTube, Maps, Accuweather, Vimeo and vTuner Internet Radio, writes Sammyhub. Samsung achieved the milestone of ten million downloads in september and would also become the border of eleven million downloaded applications passed.
That is a doubling compared to may this year; then broke through the company’s limit of five million downloads. In november 2010, the counter is still at one million. Samsung introduced the application store during the CES trade fair in January 2010 and the rest since then, a large number of televisions and blu-ray players with support for apps.
