The government applies the legal arboregels to allow employers more attractive to employees anywhere on location, such as in an internet café lwa, to make it work. The current rules cast thresholds for home – and teleworking.
The relaxed arboregels go in on July 1, 2012 and should, according to the Ministry of Social Affairs and Employment, especially the so-called New world of Work encourage.
“In the coalition agreement, it was agreed any barriers for home – and teleworking and strict rules for thuiswerkplekken to eliminate”, says state secretary Paul de Krom of the ministry. “I have to do this, the University of Amsterdam to examine whether the labour laws presents challenges for New Work.”
From this research it appears that there are no laws, fundamental need to be changed. However, the researchers have a number of belemmingen observed, which can be solved with the adaptation of the current rules, says De Krom.
“In a place and tijdongebonden labour is at this moment under the full arboregime”, The Crooked. “That means that even if the employee performs work outside the normal workplace, for example in an internet café, the employer is fully responsible for the working conditions. That is for the development of The New Work is not a good thing.”
The current arboregels write an employer, for example, not only for the demands of a workplace in the office must meet, but also set requirements to the workplace of an employee’s home. In addition to these so-called limited arboregels, there is also an extensive range of arboregels, which currently apply to all provide employees for regular jobs other than at work or at home. According to the ministry, which rules, who are under more demands on the workplace design of an internet cafe, and the fire safety of that building, be made more flexible.
