Google has a preview version of a new cloud-based open which the MySQL databases will be created and can be managed. Google Cloud SQL is free for now, to use by App Engine developers.
With Google Cloud SQL get developers tools for relational databases in the hands, says the search giant. App Engine users, MySQL-compatible databases via the web environment create and manage, and also MySQL databases to import and export. The cloud services supports the Java protocol jdbc and the db-api that Python applications can be used. Go, a programming language developed by Google has been developed, is not supported.
Cloud SQL is free for now, but Google will in the long term money would like to see for the cloud-based. The company promises its rates at least thirty days before it transferred to a betaalmodel to make it public.
