Fujifilm drag Kodak to court for breach camerapatenten

Fujifilm has Friday Kodak sued for infringement of four patents for digital cameras, after negotiations between the two companies had failed. Fujifilm wants a jury verdict and compensation.

According to the indictment, Kodak has several products in the United States produced and sold infringing on the patents. It would go to the compact cameras EasyShare C340 and EasyShare M530. It is not known to which of the four patents exactly. The lawsuit is, according to BusinessWeek Friday, filed by Fujifilm in Manhattan, after previous conversations about licenses on the patents on nothing count a lot.
