The American Replay Games has acquired rights to Leisure Suit Larry, and a remake of the first game in the series. Al Lowe, creator of the series, is working on the new version, which appears for the pc and consoles.
Replay Games is going to be a remake on the market of Leisure Suit Larry In The Land of The Lounge Lizards, the adventure game from 1987, which marked the beginning of a whole series of games around salesman Larry Laffer, who is seeking the woman of his dreams. The studio is going to work with Al Lowe, the first parts of the series has devised. When and on which platforms the new version will appear, is not known. The studio has acquired rights to the series and hopes for games for Windows, Xbox Live, PSN, OS X, iOS, Android, Steam, On-Live and Gaikai.
Replay does not only work on the remake of the first game, but also to a new adventure in the series. That, too, is in collaboration with Lowe. The studio hopes the new game, which has no title, in the fourth quarter on the market. Lowe is going to be at the Replay to work with Paul Trowe, ceo of Replay. The two know each other from publisher Sierra, which are the first parts of the series put on the market.
