The Hail to the Icons Parody Pack for Duke Nukem Forever is published. It is the first expansion for the shooter, for 8 euro to download. The expansion includes three new game modes, four maps and four new weapons.
The Hail to the Icons Parody Pack from October 11th to download for both the pc version of Duke Nukem Forever as the consoleversies of the game. The dlc costs 8 euros or 800 Microsoft Points. This will be four new levels and three new game modes added to the multiplayer mode of the game.
The level Call of Duke contains a N00b T00b-weapon, Inferno contains teleporters and a DFG, the Sandpit is equipped with sticky bombs, and in 2Forts1Bridge Duke to the hallway with a minigun and hats. In the mode, Freeze Tag, players must work together to be opponents with special weapons to freeze and then shatter. The Hail to the King mode lets players free-for-all deathmatch-potties play, while in Hot Potato gamers as long as possible, a babe in their possession.
The Hail to the Icons Parody Pack is made by Gearbox Software, the studio that in 2010 the production of Duke Nukem Forever took over from the original developer 3D Realms. Gearbox possession, since the rights to the name Duke Nukem, and has already announced new games in the series.
