EVGA showcases X79 Classified motherboard for Sandy Bridge-E

EVGA has on the GeForce LAN 6 event, of Nvidia a new motherboard shown for Intel’s upcoming Sandy Bridge-E cpus. The X79 Classified motherboard include eight usb 3.0 ports and has an xl-atx package.

The X79 Classified is the flagship in EVGA’s new series of motherboard with the lga2011 socket, it writes legitreviews. The motherboard has the xl-atx format, so there is much space between the different components. Because of this, it should be easier to thick cards and the board to insulate to avoid condensation when overclocking.

The motherboard has place for four memory modules, two on each side of the lga2011 socket. EVGA could also be models on the market with room for up to eight dimms. There are five pci-express 3.0 slots, two sata 600 and four sata 300 ports. The i/o side is home to a whopping eight usb 3.0 ports, two esata ports, a ps/2 connector, two gigabit lan ports, achtkanaalsaudio and a reset button.

Except with the Classified board is EVGA with two other models which listen to the names X79 SLI, X79 FTW. The manufacturer says the plates simultaneously to introduce Intel’s Sandy Bridge-E cpu’s, which by the end of this year are planned.
