Constitutional reform, in spite of Abe’s election victory is uncertain

Japan’s head of government, Abe won the upper house election a significant victory. Now he wants to change the pacifist Constitution. But his coalition partner, the expectations once subdued.

The government coalition of the right-wing conservative Prime Minister Shinzo Abe, as well as other reform-minded conservative forces got together after the upper house election on Sunday, at least mathematically, for a constitutional amendment required a two-thirds majority, reports media.
