Froome wins and gets the Yellow Jersey
The Tour-favorite the muscles, and sets of 8. Stage an exclamation point. On the last run of Christopher Froome sprints to the other Top drivers of it and slips into the Yellow Jersey.
Top favorite Christopher Froome with a surprise attack on the last descent to the eighth stage of the 103. Tour de France win and the Yellow Jersey conquered. The title defender from the UK was on the second Day in the Pyrenees, where it went on the legendary Tour-summit of the Col du Toumalet, after 184 kilometers from Pau to Bagnères-de-Luchon, 13 seconds ahead of Irishman Daniel Martin and Joaquim Rodriguez from Spain. With an attack shortly before the dangerous descent of the Col de Peyresourd the Briton secured victory on the day and drove to the top of the overall standings. The winner of the 2015, which was far more than a mediocre driver, created on the downhill at speeds of up to 90 kilometres per hour on the mid-pipe sitting a new driving style and celebrated the fifth victory of the British in this Tour-edition.The Sky captain took his Coup, the “Maillot Jaune” from the Belgians

“At the top of the summit I thought to myself: just Try everything!” Froome said afterwards and turned: “Perhaps I left a bit too many forces. You have to see that tomorrow.” The multi-time German time trial world champion Tony Martin was in the meantime, one of the three outliers, however, the favorites group turned to Froome the Germans on the rise for the penultimate mountain.
On the ninth stage on Sunday at the first mountain of this year’s France arrival-round trip again the favorites. The Queen stage in the Pyrenees over 184,5 kilometres from Vielha, Val d’aran, in Spain, to Andorra-Arcalis, where Jan Ullrich rode in his Tour victory in 1997 to the Yellow Jersey.
