After the riots: the prohibition of alcohol in EM

In the case of the riots between Hooligans in Marseille and Lille, too much alcohol was in the game. The French government has at least limited for “sensitive places” for the sale of alcoholic beverages.

Interior Minister Bernard Cazeneuve was asked after the riots, almost 40 injured, local authorities, and to impose in “sensitive areas” alcohol bans. Prison sentences for Hooligans
