A relegation battle differently
Review: Already three hours before the kick-off was celebrated in front of the stadium tidy. Flags were waved, and again and again songs. No trace of aggression or angry Fans – scenes, in such difficult situations, often of everyday life, were not to be seen in Bremen. Here works
A relegation battle is different, here is a whole town stands United behind the club. The Fans have supported their club in the past few weeks, always positive and always due to the actions motivated by it. Also before the game against Eintracht Frankfurt it was that time again: the “Green-White-Wonderwall” made for a last boost of motivation for the Werder professionals. In the coach the entire Team in the pace went through a Fan-trellis, and was cheered loudly. Also, mayor of Bremen made its way through the crowd and pointed with his green jacket, for which club, his heart is beating.
Motivation by Werder Amateurs
In The Middle Of It: Werder Goalkeeper Felix Wiedwald
In the stadium, the Enthusiastic Fans, who didn’t think it was cups to your seat. True to the Motto “Mors high”, which loosely translated means as much as “ass”, were all the spectators in the stadium throughout the 90 minutes. The green-and-white gossip cardboard made for a high noise level, the crack also the last Fan from his seat. “SV Werder, Olé” and “SVW”-Cheering made from the Weser stadium, with a great house. No trace of the so-called North German restraint.
Additional Motivation was there in the tenth Minute. Stadium announcer Arndt Zeigler announced that Bremen’s youth team by a win against Aalen in the relegation in 3. League was able to secure. Applause in the stands, and the faint hope that the professionals would follow suit. Only a few minutes later, another cheers echoed cry through the Weser stadium: the Wolfsburg against VfB Stuttgart was shown and, accordingly, be celebrated. Unfazed by the game the 22 professionals gave on the lawn, more everything. Bremen ran, fought and pushed for the lead. The guests from Frankfurt have focused on their stable of Defensive and counter-attacking game.
Recharge your batteries in the mid-term
Bremen, in forward gear, but the trepidation of the Fans looks not to be overlooked in the case of tentative attacks of the Frankfurter. The 2:0 the wolf Burger, the facial features of some of Bremen’s relaxed in the stadium. The direct descent had become by this time very unrealistic. After the players were adopted after an intense first half, with applause at the break, were the well-42,000 people finally have time to catch their breath. There has been much discussion, wanted to complain about the performance in the first round but no one. The Team of coach Viktor Skripnik came first out of the cabin. “Come on fight’Werder and win” – once again, the Fans gave the marching route.
Frankfurt Fans celebrating too early
The goal: Eintracht Keeper Lukas Hradecky is beaten
And what did the guests? In the consciousness of the class with a goalless draw to keep the harmony and defended with full commitment. On the opposite side Skripnik with Anthony Ujah brought a more attacking force in the game, what had to happen first, no impact on the game, because Bremen failed either at the Frankfurt defense, or to the nerves. The Fans, however, remained on a consistently high level and shouting their team forward.
A quarter of an hour festivities before the end, initiated the Frankfurt Block, the first tentative, because the classes stop came closer. Bremen ran out of time. The nervous tension increased from Minute to Minute. A lot of small Fouls and discussions given in the last minutes of the game – referee Deniz Aytekin had to intervene again reassuring. However, with the Fans in the back, the hosts tried everything again and fought again in front of the gate of Frankfurt.
Djilobodji – a Bremen Hero
Shortly before the final, elegantly received Ujah the Ball into the five-meter space, where Djilobodji the leather over the goal line squeezed. The scorer sprinted across the entire court, lost his Jersey and, amidst the cheers of his teammates. Even the otherwise so quiet Bremen Coach had uncontrolled his emotions no longer in the grip and ran to the square. “Never 2. League” came the reply from the stands – the stadium turned into a deafening madhouse. The last seconds were to a single Bremer Party.
Pure emotion: thousands of Werder Fans storm after the final whistle the game field
With the final whistle all the dams broke for good. Skripnik and his Co-Trainer Thorsten Frings were in the poor, Djilobodji, and Ujah were hailed, captain Clemens Fritz screamed all of his emotions. Madness, Bremen had actually done it. A short time later, the folder had a View, and opened the gates to the interior. The Fans flocked on to the pitch and celebrated with their team the earned classes. More than an hour later, the Bremen, the celebrations moved to the city centre.
