US actor George Kennedy died

He was very well known especially through his performances in the Comedy trilogy “The naked gun”. Now the Oscar winner at the age of 91 years in Boise in the US has died-the state of Idaho.

The actor and Oscar winner George Kennedy was eliminated on Sunday in his home life, as his grandson Cory thighs on his Facebook page announced. According to a report in the local newspaper, the “Idaho Statesman” died in Kennedy a natural death. The actor had suffered from heart problems.

Kennedy was born in 1925 in New York into a theatrical family, and volunteered during the Second world war in the army. After 16 years of service, he retired because of a back complaint and went to Hollywood. There is the very large and strong man, was a character actor and for his performances in films like “Charade” (1963), “The 27. Floor” (1965) and “The Last bite celebrated the dogs” (1974). Overall, Kennedy was in over 200 films and TV series, including the successful TV series “Dallas” and the disaster movie “Earthquake” (1974). He played his last role in 2014 – 90 years – in the movie “the Gambler”.

Kennedy’s grandson, thanked the late actor for the “memories and the Knowledge” that he shared with him. Even fellow actors like Albert Brooks and Bo Derek expressed via Twitter their grief.
