It is unknown what the characteristics are of the 8k tv that LG would want to release, but according to Cnet, the prototype of a diagonal of 55″. The resolution of the prototype is 7680×4320 pixels, which means that the screen 33 million pixels. That is four times as much as a 4k tv, and sixteen times as much as a standard full-hd television. The number of pixels per inch is therefore coming from around 160.
