Berlinale: “Junction of 48” and “Who’s Gonna Love Me Now?” award
The feature film “Junction of 48” and the documentary “Who’s Gonna Love Me Now?” could be the audience to convince. Berlinale Fans honor the films with the audience award in the Panorama section.
The winning Film “Junction 48” is already the sixth production of the Israeli filmmaker Udi Aloni, whose Premiere at the Berlinale has taken place. “Junction 48” is a sweeping, vibrant work in the rhythm of the Rap and acts of discrimination against Arab Israelis. The second place in the category of feature film uses “greetings from Fukushima (Fukushima mon Amour)”, a Film of the German Director Doris Dörrie. The third place went to “Shepherds and Butchers”, a South African-American-German Co-production of South African Director Oliver Schmitz.
