-
The adrenaline rush that comes in the glass case
This is truly not for cowards: On the Canary island of La Gomera there is a glass bridge seven feet above a steep wall. Bold occur on the bridge, the Restaurant “Mirador de Abrante” belongs, as in Nothing – and the 600 meters in height. Reward: Atlantic ocean-Panorama up to the horizon, a view of the valley to the village of Agulo and a small adrenaline rush.

Insights in the fjord landscape
Norway, with its mountainous massifs and plateaus provides, in numerous Places, impressive views. In the municipality of Aurland leads to a wooden ramp in 30 meters height over the treetops, and provides insights into a 650 metres deeper Fjord. The “Stegastein” ends with a sheet of glass, the view of the wild rocky landscape releases.
-
Crazy Formations
Snowed in looks this design is particularly bizarre in the midst of the landscape: Since the end of 2015 is this looped Skywalk in the Czech resort of Dolní Morava. Highlights: A 100 Meter long slide, as well as a network of 55 meters height -if you look into the net, through the meshes of a free view into the depth.
-
Stairs to Riesenfernrohr
In the Botanical garden of Merano in Italy is this huge telescope. From the “Matteo Thun’s Gucker” looks out on the Mediterranean garden design and the surrounding mountains of the Alps. The stairs to the viewpoint is almost completely sichtdurchlässig – nothing for people with acrophobia.
-
Walk to the dam
This observation depends on Austria’s highest concrete dam, the kölnbrein dam. The 200 metre-high dam wall is one of a series of hydroelectric power stations. The Skywalk is therefore also to a waterfall, remember, the over the Mauerkante in the deep pool.
-
In the balancing act on the island
Here it is shaky: The County of Antrim in Northern Ireland offers tourists an exciting attraction. The only one Meter wide suspension bridge “Carrick-a-Rede” which connects the mainland with a small barrier Basaltinsel. 30 feet above the sea, balancing the pedestrians on the bridge, the once fishermen used to get from the island to catch salmon.
-
Above the clouds, like James Bond
On this mountain in the Swiss Alps was 1968/69 the James Bond movie “on her Majesty’s service” was filmed. The Skywalk at the top of Schilthorn, however, there has only been 2014. Who is on the precipice of dare, will be rewarded with a magical view over the Bernese Alps and a light thrill the felt at that time probably also George Lazenby as secret agent 007.
